Do you believe in a supernatural force? Do you believe all gods are the same? Do you believe He is distant, unloving, angry? Do you believe He is our Creator and Father?
Let us introduce you to who the Bible says He is.
God is the Creator of the universe. He is "Triune" which means he is 3 beings in 1: The Father (Lord), The Son (Jesus), and The Holy Spirit.
If you go to Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew word God can be translated to Elohim which is a plural word.
Also in Genesis 1:26, God refers to himself in plural form "Then God said, ‘Let us make man in OUR image".
Does this mean there are multiple gods?
NO. There is is only one God.
"I am the LORD, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me." - Isaiah 45:5
God is so much bigger than just a person. He is a triune being all in one.
1. Merciful- 2 Corinthians 1:3
2. Compassionate- Psalm 51:1
3. Gracious- Psalm 103:13
4. Love- 1 John 4:8
5. Loyal- 2 Timothy 2:13
6. Slow to Anger- Psalm 86:15
7. Just- Deuteronomy 32:4
8. Good- Psalms 34:8
Science doesn't disprove the bible, it actually proves it. Did you know famous scientists actually used the bible as the foundation of their research? One of those scientists is Issac Newton.
According to the Big Bang Theory, the most common and accepted theory for the creation of the world, is the idea that one singular ball of energy combusts and exploded to create the universe billions of years ago.
Then how did that singularity come into existence if according to the law of Thermodynamics is that energy cannot be created???
The only way to explain how the universe came to be through creation. God created the universe.
Was Jesus a Real Person?
Jesus was written and recorded by Roman, Jewish, and Christian Historians. He wasn't just a character in the Bible and He wasn't just a prophet.
Jesus is God. Jesus was sent to the earth in human form in order to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
Did Jesus Die?
"But coming to Jesus, when they saw that He had already died, they did not break His legs; but one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water.”
- John 19:34
"Jesus died of a severe variety of blood loss-induced shock and a type of suffocation that normally resulted from crucifixion." (LA Times, 1986)
According to the Bible and even the American Medical Association, Jesus died.
Did Jesus Ressurect?
This takes faith to believe, but the following facts are also recorded:
1. The tomb was empty
2. Multiple Witnesses (some at the same time which dispproves hallucinations)
3. Women were the first ones to witness him. Women's testimonies weren't highly esteemed at the time. If it were fabricated, the disciples would have most likely used men as the witnesses.
This one is debated by evolutionists but there is currently extensive evidence of the damage from the flood that can be found today. To read a peer-reviewed study on this topic: click here.

"Marine archaeologists have found the first evidence of a people who perished in a great flood of the Black Sea that has been linked with the story of Noah's ark." (ABC News, 2012)
1. God created the world in 6 days; He rested on the 7th.
2. God created Adam and Eve to be ruler of all the animals and living creatures. He gave them ONE RULE: do not eat from the tree of knowledge.
3. Satan who was a fallen angel (God gives free will to all, including angels. Satan decided he wanted to be like God and rebel) comes to Eve in the form of a serpent. Plot twist: Satan convinces Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and Adam soon follows.
4. This great sin is what caused the separation of human and God. (This is where the term spiritually dead comes from. God gives life and now that we are not united with him, we are dead.)
5. Because of this separation humans have to give sacrifices in order to be close to God. None of these sacrifices were good enough. Luckily, it is promised that the Son of God will come to the earth to save everyone.
6. Jesus Christ is born by a virgin, and spends his time on earth leading people to follow him through parables, miracles, and love.
7. Jesus is rejected by his people, is given up to the authorities by one of his disciples in exchange for money. (Remember Jesus did NOTHING to deserve this punishment. We did. Our Sin did. Our rejection of him.)
8. Jesus dies on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. This means we no longer need temples, animal sacrifices, or cleanings to enter holy places.
8. The covenant promised in the Old Testament is fulfilled and now humans can be with God again. (This is where the term 'born-again' comes from. We are now untied with God again through Jesus. Making our spirit 'born again'.)
9. Now followers of Jesus have been given the gift of eternal life.
But How?
By Salvation Through Jesus Christ.
When God was separated from his people he was devastated. So he sacrificed his only son so we could be together again.
The only way to heaven is through believing fully in Jesus. There is no amount of work we can do to get to Heaven, only by grace. For work is a result of salvation but not the root of it.
John 14:6
One Word. Love
The amazing thing is that we can't earn it, but we just have to receive it with an honest and believing heart.
1. Open your heart. Make sure you are truly aware of what you believe. Are you willing to follow Jesus? Really ponder this. Make sure you are fully committed to giving your life to Christ.
2. Pray in an honest way. There's no formula to this. God only cares about your heart. What matters is what you believe about Jesus and your internal commitment to him.
An example: "Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner; I repent. Today I ask Jesus into my life. I believe that God sent his only son to die on the cross so that we may be saved and have eternal life. Today I want to follow you."
Remember a prayer without belief is just words without meaning. You have to believe to receive this gift.
3. Start living for him.

"So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God."
Nothing. There is nothing that YOU can do to earn a relationship with God without Jesus. When Eve and Adam disobeyed God, the human race was now 'spiritually dead' and separated from God. Because He loves us and wanted to restore that relationship with us, God sent His Son to provide a way to restore relationship with us. Jesus was and is the only way one we can be with God.
In the old testament, followers of God had to participate in animal sacrifices and cleanings to get to God. Nothing was pure enough, perfect enough to cover all of our sin... until Jesus came and sacrificed His life for us.
You and God are on a jump rope team. All you are doing is holding the line for Jesus to come and jump for you. HE IS THE WAY TO GOD. All you have to do is believe enough to hold the rope.
We'd love to celebrate with you and walk alongside with you in this journey.
Welcome to the Kingdom of God!
We can miss God by overcomplicating the gospel, following too much religion and ritual, or by being consumed by past hurt from the people in the church. Let's take it back to the simplicity of the gospel so that we never miss Him again.
